The diamond that still has your back when you are pinned deep. A 12K carbon diamond padel racket with real power when you accelerate, and enough help on defence that your arm is not doing all the work.

How it feels on court

From the back it sends the ball deep with less effort, so you can defend patiently and wait for your moment. When you move forward, the head weight turns firm volleys into winners and puts genuine weight into your smash. The faster you swing, the more it gives back.

As with any diamond, the sweet spot sits high in the head, so clean contact is rewarded with real pace. The matte face and quick head speed let you load up slice on viboras and angled volleys.

Made for you if
  • You defend from the back and attack at the net
  • You want more pop than a 3K without losing control
  • You swing fast and want the racket to reward it
  • You want one diamond that does everything well
Playing characteristics

Control Medium
Spin Medium to high
Sweet spot High in the head
Manoeuvrability Good
Comfort Medium
Best zone All court, strongest at the net
Materials and construction

The face uses 12K woven carbon fibre, around 12,000 filaments in each strand of the weave, which gives a bolder weave pattern than 3K. Underneath is a medium-density EVA foam core, and the head sits in a carbon fibre frame with an open bridge throat: a curved top bar and twin arms.

Good to know
  • Its dimensions sit exactly on the official FIP limits, so you can take it into any league or tournament.
  • If you are moving up from a 3K, expect more pop from the back and a firmer, livelier response.
  • Avoid leaving it in the car on hot days, keep it in a cover between sessions and check the frame after a hard knock.
Questions players ask

3K or 12K carbon: which should I pick?
3K is the more controlled feel. 12K adds a bit more help from the back and more pop when you swing fast, while staying stable at the net. If you play a mix of defence and attack, 12K is the all-rounder of the carbon grades.

Where is the sweet spot on a diamond racket?
Higher up the head than on a teardrop or round racket. Hit it cleanly and the ball flies off the face, which is why diamonds suit players with consistent timing.

Can I put an overgrip on it?
Yes. Standard padel overgrips fit over the handle, and most players add one to fine-tune thickness and keep a dry hold on hot days.

When should I replace it?
Replace a racket if you find cracks in the frame or face, or if the face layers start to lift. If it simply feels flatter than it used to after months of regular play, that is the core telling you it has done its job.

Teardrop or diamond: which is right for me?

Choose the teardrop while you are still building consistency: its sweet spot is larger and more central. Choose a diamond once your timing is reliable and you want more power on overheads.

What do 3K, 12K and 18K mean?

It is the number of carbon filaments in each strand of the weave: 3,000, 12,000 or 18,000. All three have a carbon fibre face; the weave changes the look of the face and how it feels at contact.
